Style

Every time I read something written by a truly talented writer, I turn green. See, my writing style is a lot like my fashion sense. I write complete sentences and use adjectives sparingly; just like I wear Mom jeans and clogs. Neither my writing nor my wardrobe has a lot of flourish but both are completely functional. In fact, that sentence describes my entire approach to life; I don't get my name in the paper, but I do get shit done.

I'd like to be a super cool hippie chick or a fashion diva or a political mover and shaker. I planned to be larger than life, but then life intervened. I am no longer a star, I am a stage manager. And I guess that is okay, but sometimes I long for the spotlight again.
